RayDB provides detailed insights into your resource consumption, helping you monitor usage and avoid unexpected costs. This guide explains how to track your usage effectively.
Viewing Usage Details
- Log in to the RayDB Dashboard.
- Navigate to the Billing & Subscriptions section.
- Open the Usage & Metrics tab to view real-time and historical usage statistics.
Metrics Tracked
- Storage Usage: Tracks how much disk space your database consumes.
- Data Transfer: Measures outbound data transfer beyond the free allowance.
- Backup Retention: Monitors the storage used by automatic and manual backups.
Setting Usage Alerts
- Enable usage alerts to receive notifications when approaching plan limits.
- Configure thresholds for storage, data transfer, and other billable metrics.
- Alerts can be sent via email or displayed in the dashboard.
